Dan Morton, M.D.
Dr. Dan Morton is board certified in Internal Medicine and in Gastroenterology by the American of Board of Internal Medicine. After graduating from Fort Worth Country Day School, he earned his undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University in 1974. He attended University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where he received his M.D. degree in 1978. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland, where he served an additional year as Chief Resident. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins University before returning to Fort Worth to begin his private in 1984.
Dr. Morton is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, Texas Medical Association, and the Tarrant County Medical Society. He has served as a past President of the Fort Worth Academy of Medicine, a board member of North Texas Specialty Physicians, and Chief of Medicine at Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital. His interests include fishing, flying and playing the piano.
