Kamal Syed, M.D.
Dr. Syed received his M.D. degree from The Aga Khan University Medical College, in his native homeland of Karachi, Pakistan, in 1988. His completed his post-graduate training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at The Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas in 1996. Dr. Syed has been in private practice since 1997; he joined G.A.N.T. in 2005. His special interests include ERCP and therapeutic endoscopy. Dr. Syed is a member of American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Texas Medical Association and Tarrant County Medical Society. Dr. Syed and his wife, Samira, were married in 1989. They have three children. In his leisure time, Dr. Syed enjoys reading, playing tennis, and racquetball. |
