Janis Sprout, M.S.N., B.C., A.N.P., G.N.P.
Janis Sprout, M.S.N., B.C., A.N.P., G.N.P., graduated from UT Arlington Nursing School and worked in ICU before embarking on a long career in endoscopy at Harris Methodist Fort Worth. She received her Masters in Nursing from UT Arlington in 1999. In January 2000, she became GANT’s first Nurse Practitioner. She is certified as a Nurse Practitioner in both adult and geriatric health.
She has a special interest in the treatment of liver disease, including treatment of Hepatitis C. She is on the Speakers Bureau for Roche Laboratories and has spoken both locally and nationally on a variety of diseases including hepatitis, cirrhosis, and anemia.
A long-time resident of Ft. Worth, Janis is a member of multiple professional organizations including the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) and has served as President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Greater Fort Worth Chapter. She is also a member of American College of Nurse Practitioners, and Texas Nurse Practitioners.
